Is there a good waffle in Marin?

Or are they supposed to be cardboard-like -- I'm kinda getting used to those, but somewhere in my memory bank there used to be a crispy yet tender thing by the same name...

I enjoy the waffles at Eduardo's and at LeCroissant, both in San Rafael.

It's been many years, but I used to enjoy the Belgian waffles at Bubbas Diner in San Anselmo.

Thank you -- didn't know they specialized in waffles and pancakes. Only been there for their lunches and dinners.

You're welcome! The only reason I stopped going there is because I purchased my own Belgian waffle maker (one that rotates around for cooking). There are a couple of basic recipes in the Joy of Cooking that are quite good.
