Tribeca/West Village

Need a recommendation for restaurant on a Friday night for two. A place similar to Red Cat - good food; well-thought out wine list; good vibe. Need to be able to carry on a conversation. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

    Well Red Cat's sister restaurant The Harrison comes to mind, but the vibe is different. I also haven't been there in a long time, so not sure how good they are now, but I remember thinking the Harrison's food being leagues above that of the Red Cat back then.

      The Harrison immediately came to mind....& yes, it's joined at the hip to Red Cat. Answers your request perfectly.
