Ice Cream Containers

Startrelle Jun 1, 2010 05:35 PM

Does anyone know where I can purchase ice cream container, like Ben & Jerry's, Hagen Daas, etc. in the Los Angeles area? I'm looking for various sizes (8 oz., 12 oz., 16 oz...) preferably paper.

Did you have any luck finding those containers? I was just asked by a co-worker today if I knew where to find them.

I was looking for these recently --- and found them at Surfas. Smart & Final did not have them.

Inventory varies a lot at individual Smart & Final stores. The one near me in irvine always has quart sized, white paperboard, lined ice cream containers. I use them to freeze home made stock.

If your local store doesn't have it, ask the store mangers to bring it in. They're usually very good about special orders.

Surfas is usually a reliable source for things like this, they're just much more expensive than S&F. which store did you try? i've gotten them in West LA & Culver City in a couple of different sizes...quart & pint.
