Hi, I am meeting a friend for sushi tomorrow night. She wants to go within a 10 block radius of Penn Station, north or south it does not matter.

It is not the best, but it is decent and a good deal and it's 13 blocks from 34th & 7th. It's on 21st & 7th. Like a 6 minute walk.

Kanoyama is in the East Village, not on 21st and 7th.

I think that you might be referring to Momoya on 21st and 7th.

I don't think that the sushi there is worth walking the 13 blocks.

Yikes! Yes yes I was referring to Momoya. I think Momoya is a decent place for the price, and it's 13 blocks away. Mind you I'm a high end sushi eater, and by no means am I suggesting that Momoya is up there in the rankings, but in that neighborhood it's quite acceptable. I think some of their cooked dishes and salads are good, and the fish quality is fine. It's also reasonably priced for what it is.
