Marrakesh and Fez
I am traveling to Marrakesh (Sunday/Monday/Tuesday) and Fez (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday)in late July/early August and I am looking for restaurant recommendations in each. We have not been before so would be looking to sample traditional fare as well as more modern fare. Price is not an object, we are just looking for the best food. Please let me know if you would need any more information to provide suggestions. Thank you for the help in advance.

Marrakesh - forget a restaurant, go to Djemaa el Fna and eat at the night market! Some of the best food I had in Morocco! Don't eat kebabs with the other tourists, but go to the stalls that the locals frequent, like those that serve snail soup, sheep's head, or cinnamon tea.
If you are craving Western food, Café du Livre is a pleasant place where you will find a lot of ex-pats.Fes - I didn't get a chance to try it but I was told that Café Clock was good. The best food I had here was at the riad I stayed at, but they don't have a restaurant and only serve food to people who stay there.
