Any suggestions for Kosher food for a wedding near Trenton, NJ

I am having a buffet style wedding where I have some Kosher guests attending who are vegetarian. I am trying to figure out a lunch entree, with a starch and vegetables along with some hors d'oeuvres to be passed around as well as a restaurant, personal chef or caterer. Could anyone give me any suggestion of places or people to contact that could provide us with a tray?

Thanks you in advance!

  1. It may seem like a bit of a distance, but I would definitely reccommend Supersol out of Westchester county, NY. I have had their meals at non-kosher events.

    Good Luck.

    1. If you say you have kosher guests who are vegetarian, does that mean that they will eat nonkosher vegetarian? You may want to discuss with them as it could save you another task as you plan the wedding if you can just make sure that your caterer has veggie options for your kosher guests.

the op said they are kosher and vegetarian-they probably not eat nonkosher vegetairan

      2. Contact the Princeton Jewish Center or the Center for Jewish Life at Princeton University for recomendations of local caterers who regularly work in the area; there are no Kosher restaurants in Mercer County.

The closest are likely to be Middlesex County (East Brunswick or Highland Park) to the north or Monmouth County (Deal in particular) to the East.

        1. Try the expresso cafe in N E Phila http://www.espressocafekosher.com
          Good food, close by

          1. I don't know if this is more of same in terms of not helpful information, but my husband and I were at a non-kosher affair on Friday and we ate meals from Abigail's in NY. It was all on china, very nice salad and then a salmon with roasted potatoes and green beans. I can't tell you about dessert because we needed to leave early
