Jazz Bar in San Antonio

I'm looking for a good jazz bar in San Antonio. My mother loves jazz and she never knows where to go. We went to Soho this past weekend and didn't really like it. So any suggestions? Downtown or on the northside would be preferred.

Downtown/Riverwalk, you might try Jim Cullum's Landing. Check the website to make sure there will be a full band playing inside (as opposed to a duo/trio outside).

Jim Cullum is no longer playing at the Landing, unfortunately, but they're trying to get other bands there.
You could try Joe's Blues at Bluestar, or Casbeer's - both in the King William. Bluestar Brewing Company has started a Sunday jazz brunch.

I will have to check out all three of these places. They sound pretty good. I had heard of The Landing before, but not the other two. Thanks a lot.
