Anyone serve good blood Sausage in DFW?

Casting a wide net, so anywhere in DFW will work for now. Let me know where, how they serve it, what makes it special to you. I've only had the good stuff in the midwest and craving them.

  1. Hola! used to have it on their tapas menu. Now I think their new place is called Si. It is over in State Thomas in the old Watels location. I don't know if this is what you are lookin for but it is the only blood sausage I have had in DFW.

      The Crujiente de Morcilla de Arroz and the Morcilla Frita were amazing at Si Tapas, thanks for the Rec.
      PS: Loved the Crema Catalana for dessert.

    2. There is a Colombian place at Beltline and Josey in Carrollton that serves blood sausage, as well as some other really good dishes. Sorry I can't remember the name of the place. It is on the North East corner in a strip center.

      2. The Colombian restaurant in Carrollton is called Casa Vieja. It is one of the best cultural restaurants in DFW. They do have blood sausage and they do have several dishes that are traditional from Colombia, all well prepared and authentic.

        Also, it might be helpful to know these two words: "Mofongo" is the Mexican word for blood sausage and "Morcilla" is the Latin American word for blood sausage. That'll help as you "shop around"

        1. El Portal is another good Colombian spot for morcilla.
