looking for a great anchovy caesar salad

had a great anchovy caesar salad once in Puerto Rico and I've been trying to find one in SD ever since. it doesnt need to have the fish but i would like to at least taste it in the dressing. any ideas?

I like this style a lot, too. I have 4 favorite Caesars in San Diego:

1) Marine Room - tableside prep, with anchovies, egg yolk, etc.
2) Manhattan - ditto.
3) Surprisingly, Extraordinary Desserts' downtown location. This is the least pricey of the three, and is excellent.
4) Blind Lady Alehouse - this one uses white Spanish anchovies, and large Romaine leaves. Very tasty.

Just got home from BLAH, tried their Caesar's and it was drenched in dressing, would not order it again.

Best one I had at a place that is now gone, LG's steakhouse. I guess you could always visit them in Palm Springs.

Surprisingly, one of the best real caesar salads I've had in San Diego was at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
