Lunch spot in Venice tomorrow?

I'm so over Gjelina, Axe, etc (that half of AK really). Lemonade and the pizza spot are great but I want to sit down and little bit more upscale atmosphere.

Are there any hidden gems or new things of interest going on in Venice? Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful...I'd love a great lunch to start it off!

OK--so I went to Sauce on Hampton. The menu selection was diverse and not too adventurous but that was okay. It was fresh and delicious. I had the chopped salad and my friend had the breakfast--some of their wraps seemed appealing but odd choices of condiment/veggie pairings (ahi tuna wrap with feta, cucumber and tomato? sounds odd). The service however was horrible! The waitress was clueless and also served our cookies on top of the little black check thingie...ewww unsanitary lol. Also, the instant 15% gratuity charge is distasteful and silly, especially for a party of less than 6 (it applies to any size party). What if she was great and I wanted to tip her more? Well probably not with the mission statement you post with the bill on why you impose it...Hopefully if I go back it will not be her :) hehe

If you've already frequented Joe's and Axe, I'm guessing you've already done Lily's as well. Their food is pretty good French bistro fare, but their patio is really nice for a weekend lunch.

I would do 26 Beach Restaurant. Make a reservation and grab a cap and some french toast. I like the new coconut french toast with pineapple and blue berries.

Not been but there is the recently opened Hash in the Hotel Erwin on Pacific and South Venice. Have you been to Cache yet?

Have not. I was considering that but was under the impression the restaurant was on the rooftop too but its really small in the lobby :/

Mm have you tried Ado? There's nothing really amazing per se, but maybe James Beach?

I just ready ADO was damaged by a fire on May 18th! WOW So sad!!! Joe's is great but always go there too haha...I may do Rose Cafe, haven't been there for a while it is pretty cute and relaxed and I'm feeling chill today :)
