Thoughts on a good Pre-Bowery Ballroom Meal? LES? Please.
Going to see the Dave Rawlings Machine next wednesday at the Bowery Ballroom (LES) for my Birthday with a whole group of food lovers. I was wondering if there is something new/old/fun/lesser known in the LES that we should check out pre-show. We will be eating early so we should be able to get in anywhere. I know it is annoyingly unspecific, but any cuisine is possible and price is not an object. Just very good food and ambiance required. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Cafe Katja, Sorella, and DBGB are my current fav's before a show. If your looking for more a scene Freeman's and Kenmare isn't too far either. Torrisi Italian specialties is only a couple of blocks away too.

Definitely Loreley - we go before almost every Bowery show - sit at the bar, good food, great beers
