drinks and bite to eat after greek theater concert in Berkeley- ideas?

I will attend a concert at the Greek Theater on friday. I am not familiar with the area. Do you have a recommendation for a place for drinks and bites?
Thank you !

  1. There's nothing in the immediate area. Are you driving or taking BART?

With a car, maybe Wood Tavern, A Cote, Mua, Pizzaiolo, or Adesso.

5008 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA 94609

        A Cote
5478 College Ave, Oakland, CA 94618

        Wood Tavern
6317 College Ave., Oakland, CA 94618

2442A Webster Street, Oakland, CA 94612

        4395 Piedmont Ave, Oakland, CA

    1. Try Cesar on Shattuck. Good food (tapas), drinks but it gets busy and crowded.

More casual - Jupiter (pizza, beer), Triple Rock (brew pub)

All these are on Shattuck Ave, approximately 1 mile from the Greek and very close to about 5 blocks from downtown Berkeley BART. There's also a bunch of cheap eats/student places south of campus...about .5 miles...but not drink oriented.

Hmm, drinks and after a show, that does narrow down the options. It's an early show so Revival might still be open. Gather and Five are open till 10. Anh Hong is open till 10:30. Meridian is open till 1am.

        Bar C├ęsar
1515 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley, CA 94709

        2181 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley, CA

        Anh Hong
2067 University Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704

        Triple Rock Brewery
        1920 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley, CA

        Meridian International Sports Cafe
        2050 University, Berkeley, CA

        FIVE American Bistro & Bar
2086 Allston Way, Berkeley, CA 94704

2200 Oxford Street, Berkeley, CA 94704

        Revival Bar & Kitchen
2102 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704

Meridian is currently closed for construction so I'd scratch that off the list.

      2. Henry's Pub is w/in walking distance, 1 block south of campus.

And the bar snacks at Henry's are solid. The food is much improved under the current chef.

Oh yeah, Eddie Blyden is the chef these days. Definitely not your father's Henry's Pub.
