Quick: Best cocktails Inner Loop--Not Anvil?

My husband and I have been planning daytime celebration of our 5th anniversary tomorrow. We've allotted a large portion of our day to relaxing and sipping cocktails at Anvil. Unfortunately, I've just discovered that they don't open until 5pm. We have to be done celebrating by 6 to pick up the kids. Does anybody other restaurant/bar/lounge have a cocktail menu that competes with Anvil? Thanks in advance.
