One of the very best threads on CH--Ask Sushiman--cannot be accessed (I keep getting the
"we are working on it pop-up"--can somebody really check into this? Thanks

There's really not anything we can do for an individual thread like that -- it's just a very long thread, and sometimes it opens and sometimes it doesn't.

Thanks so much for replying...would it be possible to split the thread, as Part 1, Part 2 etc? This really has a lot of information and by the usage number, obviously it's well read.

It's not really possible, no. We can only split individual sub-threads out, which would make for a lot of new threads in order to make any significant impact on the size of the original.

This opened in under 10 second for me just now. If you are using a PC have you cleared your browser cache lately? I run CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner (free) which is a program that I download via FileHippo.com and it clears my cache and does a lot of other tidying up that makes my computer run a whole lot better.

Good suggestions for a few, but there are some of us who simply cannot open humoungous threads no matter how much cleaning is sone. Older computer, not enough memory, lousy connection, etc, etc.

While this isn't the OP of that thread, if someone has that posters email, suggest opening new thread and pointing to the old one ... and when that poster notices the second thread getting larger, start a new one.

Personally, I have a few threads that will probably get large and I'm mulling over starting new ones after 75 or 100 posts.
