Kolbeh Rice

I haven't been in a while, but Kolbeh always serves delicious rice with their food, and I want to emulate it for dinner tomorrow night. They have a white rice and a yellow rice. Does anyone recall what's in the white rice or know how to make it? I think it has shredded carrots maybe?

Thanks.

the white rice is just basmati rice, the yellow comes from saffron poured over the rice.

It's orange rice...I stumbled on the interesting situation of having my own orange rice on Friday night and then eating Kolbeh rice at a kiddush the next day...so the Kolbeh rice is much sweeter than the recipe I used

The Colbeh sweet rice is called Shirin Polo.

        Try this recipe:

They also serve 'green' rice which has dill & lima beans (Baghali Polo), and plain Basmati rice with saffron, which gives it a yellow/orange color.

You must be Persian since you are so knowledgeable with the different rices.
