71046 Thu Jul 07 00:40:47 -0700 2005 0 2 Los Angeles Area 0 388911 Peeked in the door yesterday, and a worker greeted me and said they would be opening next Wednesday, July 13, 2005, in the former Jimmy's Tavern or Primi space at 10543 Pico in the Rancho Park area. Its exterior looks almost exactly like the exterior of the ill-fated Casa Antigua(?) on Wilshire, now with an "Available" sign in the window. Wish Kay n Dave better luck! Also saw Ben Ford's(ex-Chadwick) new restaurant under development in downtown Culver City called Ford's Filling Station(9531 Culver Blvd.), adjacent to the former Sagebrush Cantina and just east of the awful pink decored San Gennero.
