Best Modern Indian in London

  • 5

Hello, I am looking for a super smart amazing modern Indian for dinner. I've been to Amaya and loved it, are there any others of similar style that beat it or am I best going back to what I know? Thank you in advance

  1. As you may know, everyone here seems to have a different opinion about what's the best, 'Indian.' I had a very acceptable meal at The Cinnamon Club. The ambiance is lovely and the menu is definitely not what you find on the High St. They sometimes have a meal deal on www.london-eating.co.uk, but I don't know when they do them.

Quilon is another possibility for a good meal.

Thanks Zuriga, I appreciate your advice.

I am stuck really because Benares is often slated, we really want tapas style so Cinnamon Club may not be quite right. Chutney Mary may be ok though.....

For anyone reading this I am going to Cinnamon Kitchen after several high recommendations.

The website is very nice! I hadn't heard about this place, and it sounds interesting. Kitchen, not Club but still Cinnamon. :-) Let us know what you thought of the food.
