Anyone remember "The Flame" Restaurant??

I'm heading to Vegas this weekend to boost the local economy! Years ago my family used to go to a steakhouse called "The Flame". I searched on this board and can't find anything on it. Does anyone know if it's still in business? Maybe moved? I'd sure appreciate anyone's help! Thanks and have a good, safe Memorial Day Holiday! I hope we all take a minute to reflect on the reason for the celebration.

The Flame has been in several of locations in a long Las Vegas run, and the latest incarnation can be found at the El Cortez downtown.

I called the Flame and was told that the location at the El Cortez is not associated or contected to the location that was on the Strip. The Strip location closed on the early 90s to make way for the Desert Inn arterial.

Thank you so much for checking that out, Eric. I really appreciate it. I'm disappointed, but then.... the older I get the more I realize you just can't recapture stuff! I'm just going to have to find a new steak house. Any suggestions?
