paris gourmet restaurant boca raton

Yesterday i had the pleasure to eat at this restaurant and we loved it, i saw a new topic in chowhound and for some reason he's no more here, so i decide to write mine because he deseverve to have some comments maybe someone tried and wasn't happy ? so try this restaurant and post your opinion. Anyway the food is well prepared and you have the chance to be served by the owner in person which is very nice, the decor is natural and the ambiance is romantic. I wich the will go through the off season because the did not open at the right time. I will definatly go there again.
Thanks for looking

I don't know where the Boca Raton restaurant is, but trust me, you don't want the one that Chowhound picked up, in Hallandale. That one is little more than a Publix reseller, with second rate meats, cheeses and Publix-quality bread. But, you'll pay more than at Publix!

Oyster - It's on Federal Near Yamato. I haven't tried it yet but they've been doing a lot of local advertising. Here's their web site:

Oh LOL! That's where my former boss now has her office, I've seen them. Haven't eaten there yet though. I don't know how they are going to make it in an office building like that (for dinner, I mean). I wish them well though.

I was there just a couple of Friday's ago for dinner. Interesting kind of place....bistro tables, fountains and a garden in an office building atrium. You follow handmade signs into a door off the indoor parking area. We felt like we were on an urban adventure. Had a veggie panini and a nice glass of wine, my daughter had a simple salad with some goat cheese toasts...we had molten chocolate cake and homemade profiteroles for dessert. We enjoyed the was fresh, simple, well prepared. Most of all we enjoyed chatting with Audrey, the owner, afterwards about Paris and the restaurant they used to have in NJ. Her and hubby run the restaurant, and their little boy has the run of the deserted atrium (he's very cute and entertained us with toy trucks and various kitchen implements....but we like that kinda stuff). I agree about not knowing how they're going to make it there....we were the only ones there...Audrey told us that the office building is half empty. If you're curious, just go for something simple like we did.

Oh, so that's their child? I was in an office on the 3rd floor, overlooking the atrium and could hear his shrieks. Not my cup of tea, that's for sure. Next time I'm in there I might try their lunch, but little shrieky kids at dinner won't make me a happy customer.

I'm glad to hear the food is good though. Audrey is right, that building has really emptied out since my former boss moved in back in September.
