Just saw this this on Facebook: Waffle Mania serving waffles at 1022 Market St at our new retail store front. Hope others can find out the hrs & days open.

Jeff, I found out from a Yelp friend that the one at Stonestown FM is called "Golden Waffle" and friend of Alain. I haven't tried "Golden Waffle" one yet. Both use dough made in Belgium is what I read.

CASH ONLY!! I got to try the Waffle Mania Kiosk on Tues 6/1/10 around 9am. The guy, I heard someone call him Nick, had 20 waffles already made. I wanted a fresh, hot one, but he didn't have the dough or something. Major bummer.

I still got one:
Sugar waffle $3.50 - he heated it up in the waffle iron, but it wasn't hot enough for me. Then he put powdered sugar on the plain waffle.

Nothing really special about it, maybe it's better when it's made fresh & hot.

I'll probably try it again, but Only if it's Freshly made.

Toppings: 50c ea - Nutella, or whipped cream, or more sugar?

Hrs:
Tues-Sat 8a-2p or when sold out. On Tues he told me he had 20 to sell, then he'll close up for the day. Waffle Truck is either broken or getting painted, not sure the real story.

Location: Market @ Golden Gate Ave/6th St, next to Show Dogs.

I tried the waffle truck waffles and wasn't impressed either. It was already made, wasn't fresh. Could be the expectations but I'll never have one again unless it's fresh. It was a bit clunky and dense cold. Warm and fresh it has potential.
