ISO Yummy crusty freshly baked bread!

I've tried Breadbar, it's good but too far away for me. I'm not really into LaBrea. Does anyone know of any secret little bakeries that turn out some great fresh baked loaves, preferebly close to Hollywood/Los Feliz/SilverLake?

  1. Frisco in Highland Park has some good stuff, I love the Italian seeded, I cut it by hand! Great for ham, egg & cheese, also nice for grilled cheese. They also do a 8 inch french roll that is great for a hoagie or hot dog bun for Hebrew National 1/4lb dogs.

Yeah, they bake their bread fresh daily. If you want something specific, call the day before before 2:00. (323) 225-6111 (ask for the store).

    2. Try Heirloom Bakery in South Pasadena, their breads are amazing
