Ladies' Night Out- Dinner and Drinks in NE Indianapolis

Some girlfriends and I are going out for dinner and drinks next week, and we would love suggestions for where to go. We all live on the north side- somewhere in the area around Castleton/Fishers/Geist would be good. We are all married and in our mid-30's- just looking for wine or cocktails and good food, nice atmosphere for talking and catching up- not too loud, but lively enough so it does not feel romantic. Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Last year I went to Z's Oyster Bar and Steakhouse in the Castleton area, and I liked it a lot. It was fairly quiet that particular evening in early April. However, they have an outdoor patio that will be lovely (and lively) this time of year, weather permitting of course. It's a very nice restaurant with great food for fish-lovers and meat-lovers alike. You can read the detailed report I posted in the discussion at http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/348586 In particular, note that it's off the main drag (although it's easily visible from I-465, which doesn't help you find it).

I've heard good things about Peterson's, the steakhouse in Fishers, but I still haven't been there. (It's been at the top of my "must try" list for a while, but I'm not usually on that side of town when I visit.) www.petersonsrestaurant.com
