Yeah, it's funny that Capocaccia and Terroni will continue to be pretty much across the street from each other in their new digs. I think that both are planning to do wine bar + small plates (that's what Terroni is planning on the main floor - regular resto upstairs). Did Quanto Basta open yet? Last time I walked by there, they were still renovating but I like the looks of what they're doing in there. I'm a die-hard Terroni fan but in the 4 or 5 times I tried Capocaccia, the food was quite decent (though it doesn't have the same energy as Terroni).

re: Ediblethoughts
Though I've never asked, I'm guessing Capocaccia is more flexible on subs if for no other reason than they're across the street from the guys who are famously not. I don't want to get into the whole Terroni debate again but I will say that for me, their pizzas beat the pastas (though some of the pastas are quite good, their salads are great and overall, while Capocaccia has good food, Terroni is the place I go back to time and time again. But I understand there is strong opinion the other way. It'll be interesting when they each open up their new spots a few blocks south - I'm looking forward to trying both (and it looks like Capocaccia jr. will have about at least a 5 month head start with their opening).
