      Fairway has is- $28/lb approx.
In NJ, Wegman's has it (in the fridge case, near the goat cheese) for $20/lb. Pcs in Wegman's are about $18-$22.

Wegman's in Ocean on highway 35. It's not with the kosher items.. it's near the rest of the refrigerated cheeses. Also saw it at Wegman's in Woodbridge.

Fairway, Zabars, Kosher Marketplace, Supersol, Barzinis.

I've seen it at all of these, and I've seen them all out of it, so you may have to try a couple stores. They've all been $20+/lb but I can't remember exact prices at any of the stores.

found it at fairway. they had a couple of brands, i opted for the cheese guy (http://www.thecheeseguy.com/). $9.99 for 8 oz.

Nothing against c.g., but the Italian Parmigiano Reggiano is worth spending the extra $$. Also, it lasts a really long time. If you are not fortunate to live near a Fairway, kosheritalia.com sells it.

I recently tried some great Kosher Parmesan from Sugar River Cheese. I did not buy it, so cannot tell you where to find it, but it is worth the search. They have other good Kosher cheeses also with interesting ingredients.

We have enjoyed the Sugar River cheeses for a couple of years. Best flavors in kosher cheeses: Jack with garlic and the cracked black pepper. From Wisconsin, of course.

Sugar River cheeses are getting harder to find here in St. Louis. Whole Foods no longer appears to carry them. Not sure about Schnucks. I will have to look for the Parmesan: we no longer get Italian brands in St. Louis. Enjoy, p.j.

I like the chipotle cheese from Sugar River.

PJ- are you sure WFM doesn't carry the cheese anymore? Last time I was at Whole Foods, they moved them around...

So where are they hiding them at the store on Brentwood? They used to be across from the olive bar, just at the east end of the cheese display.
I am not sure we've had the chipotle cheese. I'll definitely try it if I can find it!!
                  Thanks, p.j.

Ask around... but be prepared to look.

I've seen them (at different stores) in the regular dairy case, with the 'fancy' cheeses and on a display near the non-kosher cheeses of the same type.

The chipotle cheese was very good. I shredded it and mixed it with some mozzarella and used it in veggie quesadillas.

Mike's Pizzeria also carries it; the same brand as Fairway. But it's a little more expensive at Mike's than at Fairway.
