Where to Find Heath Bars in Toronto (or suitable substitute)

Hello,

I need Heath Bars for a recipe - whole, pieces, whatever - can they be found in Toronto, preferably in West Toronot/Etobiocke/Mississauga, or the St. Lawrence Market?

Failing that, is there a suitable substitute? Would Skor work?

The recipe is a chocolate and toffee cookie.

Thanks!

Kat

Unless you get the real Heath bars from the specialty candy stores, Skor is the closest. I used to buy bulk Skor bars at Domino's at SLM, very reasonably priced. I don't know if they still carry them but worth a call if you need a lot. I used to make Ben & Jerry's Heath Bar crunch ice cream using Skor.

The "Sugar Mountain" candy stores in Toronto carry Heath bars. There are two in Toronto: Yonge and Eglinton, and Yonge and Wellesley. (I think there's another "nostalgia candy" place down on Queen St, but can't remember the name or exact location.)

As far as I'm aware, Skor is about the closest you'll get in Canada.

Skor chocolate bar is clearly inferior to Heath bars. I would like to know where you can find these as well. When I head to Buffalo I pick several up.
