Wedding luncheon in Framingham area??? PLEASE HELP!!
I am getting married the end of June (yes, I realize it's last minute), and I need to book a restaurant for our after-ceremony luncheon. There will be about 35-40 guests.
The ceremony is in Framingham, so I was looking to hold the reception in the same town, but things are not looking up. We originally wanted to book Naked Fish, but I went there today to talk to the manager and see the function menu & prices - and she told me they are shutting down at the end of June so they are not booking anymore parties!!
So I could use some help. I guess if push comes to shove, it's ok if we have to drive to another town, but I'd like it to be as accessible as possible.
I also was considering Paparazzi - but when I talked to the manager, I felt like he could care less whether or not I booked there. I DID NOT get a good vibe, so I won't be booking there.
*Hoping for about $$25 pp if possible, since it's a luncheon, and not dinner (the budget is tight! It's not a big drinking crowd, so that's not including drinks)
*Located in Framingham or nearby, if possible.
*Price & food is important, but atmosphere is just as important. That's why we liked Naked Fish
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would like to book no later than end of the week. Thank you!!!

Skipjack's on Rt. 9 has a room that can be closed off, and I have generally had good experiences there (just dinner, not a function). A little farther out, but not too bad, is Arturo's in Westborough (Rt. 30). Don't know if they do luncheons, and haven't been there in quite some time, but it's not a chain, the owner seems very nice, and they do have a room that can be closed off. I've always liked it in the past, but have not been there recently.
I recommend that you try the Aegean. I think it's perfect for you. It's in Framingham. They have a function room. Prices start at $20pp. The food is great. The atmosphere is great -- very stylish contemporary Greek.
Check out this $20pp menu:
If you choose this, please remember to report back how it was!
