best food thickner for homemade chocolate milk?

I am tryin to re create a chocolate milk that's found in the Mid-North. It's called Oberweis. They have the thickest most tasty chocolate milk. Anyone know a good way to make homemade chocolate milk thick and creamy?

melt your favorite chocolate in a double boiler, whisk in double cream. transfer to direct heat and pour in your milk stirring constantly until you get the consistency you're after. i would not resort to using starches for such a sinful beverage.

Ingredients are on the company's website:
Reduced fat milk, sugar, cocoa (processed with alkali), dextrose, corn starch, carrageenan, vitamin A palmitate, vitamin D3.

the corn starch and carrageenan are what makes it thick.

yeah definitely corn starch, commercial bakers use it all the time.
