breakfast place in West / Greenwich Village?

I will be staying at Hudson & Leroy St. for a week (Sunday excluded) with DH and in-laws. I'm looking for a good breakfast spot in the neighborhood.
Good coffee is a must, the food should be of decent quality. It can be pastry, muffins or donuts but if they serve eggs, pancakes and similar, it would be great.

Hi guys, thanks so much for your advice. Unfortunatelly I will not be able to use it, as it turns out that I have been conned and the apartment I rented and paid for in fact does not exist :-(
So I will save your suggestions for the my next NYC trip :-)

Cafe Cluny is a very pretty spot with good food. It's a 5 minute walk from you (on West 4th Street).

grey dog is a favorite for breakfast for me...i prefer the carmine location.

joseph leonard does weekday breakfast on waverly. i love this place during the day. great food, great service, very neighborhoody.

You're pretty close to Grey Dog's Coffee which has good coffee and food. Not fancy and not the best in town, but really friendly.

'ino is also nearby and they serve breakfast/brunch daily starting at 9am. Great coffee and one of my favorite things ever: truffled egg toast.
