My dictionary defines exotic as "strange, bizarre".

Makes it a hard decision but possibly Glamourous in Manchester - for the view and the decor.

Gorgeous! I don't recall ever seeing another restaurant that only "seats twelve." It would be harsh to be eating a fish, then watch its children swim by.... '-)

I started this thread and I'm enjoying your answers and thought I would answer my own question. The most exotic restaurant I’ve been to would have to be one of the two Ethiopian restaurants I’ve eaten at - Lalibela in New Haven Connecticut and “Queen of Sheba Ethiopian” in Hell's Kitchen in New York City. Ethiopian restaurants seem to be the most exotic because there are very few around me – I think Connecticut only has one and most people I know have never tried Ethiopian cuisine. I also found it interesting that you eat Ethiopian food without utensils – you scoop up stew-like dishes with soft rubbery bread. I found Ethiopian food to be very enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for something different.

Don the Beachcomber in Waikiki, now long, long. long gone. Guess the real estate there was just too dear to waste on sprawling grass shacks, tropical foliage and tikis, but my, what atmosphere!
