Pacific Market - Lake City

Has anybody been to or know anything about Pacific Market in Lake City (in the block between 123rd and 125th on the East side.

I've walked by many times and their menu looks interesting and could have potential for family-run authentic Persian (?) restaurant.

Here are the pictures of the menu and the food I ordered.

I had number 12 off the menu. It was very tasty, and the eggplant reminded me of greek Moussaka. Lunch also included some flat bread and some pickled vegetables including celery and cauliflower.

I know very little about Persian food, but the meal tasted good and the place seemed real enough. I am definitely going back here again.

I've never eaten there, but I have bought stuff there, extremely nice guy runs the place, he's super helpful about ingredients for persian cooking and what not.

I ended up taking the plunge and went here for lunch! The guy was very nice and talked to me about the menu and which things I should try. I ended up picking two options and he decided which was the best of the two for me. Food was great!

I will post more details including pictures later this evening...

Thanks! I'm looking forward to the details and pics. I've bought ingredients there but have always wondered about the food. I'm a big fan of Persian food but haven't really had any in a restaurant that I thought was that good.

Persian food is another one of those foods where the local expat community points north and says "Vancouver".
