  1. Poste has always gotten a lot of good press, especially when it comes to brunch. I have only been to brunch there once and my soft scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and caviar arrived to me as only a plate of eggs. When they noticed, they took it back and put the salmon on (the now cold eggs) and brought out some comped donuts. I was satisfied but also not dying to return.
However, I don't think one could beat a Sunday on the garden patio there at Poste.

    1. Tabard Inn, definitely. But make sure you get a reservation or you're stuck at the bar. Same food, but the stools were uncomfortable for me!

      1. Tabard. I was disappointed with Poste's brunch (only been there for brunch), but always love Tabard.

        1. Chiming in with a strong vote for Tabard Inn. I seriously don't understand the Poste love, it's pretty meh.

          1. Tabard Inn. I went to Poste a couple of Saturdays ago. Made reservations for the patio. It was very hot that day and had to sit at the bar for an hour because there were only 4 tables w/ umbrellas and to sit under a table w/ an umbrella is "first come first serve." Also, a very limited lunch menu was the only option on Saturday.
