Can't Right Mouse Click on Search Results
One of the useful features on multi-tab browsers like Internet Explorer is the ability to right mouse click on a link, and then in the pop-up window select "Open in New Tab" to place the linked web page in another tab in your browser without closing the page you're already viewing. (You can also select "Open in New Window" to open another browser for the link.) This is normally available on almost every web page on the internet, including most Chowhound pages. For example, you can open the forum for your geographic area and use the right mouse click function to open tabs for each of the topics you want to open and see.
However, this right-mouse-click function is not available when viewing the list of search results. Instead, you get the same drop-down list as you get when you right mouse click on a web page item that doesn't have an underlying link - "Back, Forward, etc".
I see this has been previously reported in at least two other topics here on Site Talk, but without any resolution:
Can't right click on search lists - http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/688612
Search Results - http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/623789
I'm not sure why right mouse click doesn't work, but it sure would be helpful. Is there anything that can be done to make it available?

It seems to get resolved and then with some new release it goes back to what you describe. It is one of the primary reasons I don't use search much on this site. I am glad you asked and hopefully someone will answer.
