Having Restaurant Reccomendation Block- need help

I need a restaurant for a very casual business lunch on Friday. It needs to be somewhere near the 1,2,3 train stops between 66th and 14th. It's for four people and we want someplace low key (but with waiter service) that has good food and it not terribly loud and that takes reservations. My perfect prototype is Veselka, which is out of the way or something like a Brooklyn Diner (which we went to a few weeks ago, so that is out). Any suggestions? Looking for America type food, with a menu of sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. It can be somewhat pricey, but again, must be low key were we can just sit and talk for an hour and a half and have a good meal.

Thanks as always. This board is a life saver.

Cafeteria in Chelsea? It's usually a night-time spot so lunch is a lot calmer than dinner/supper. Solid American fare.
