Anyone know where in our fair city I can find a proper coconut cream pie? Can't find one anywhere. Thanks!

Very good one at Tres Pommes on 5th Ave in Park Slope.

Tres Pommes has it on their menu, but they didn't have it when I was there. Probably a good idea to call first.

Good luck in your quest for a local coconut cream pie! I'd guess that Two Little Red Hens has a fabulous one, albeit expensive.

I realize that Long Branch, NJ is a little farther than the Outer Boroughs, but Long Branch Poultry Farm has the best coconut custard pie I have ever, ever had (straightforward, old fashion, not overly sweet) and the coconut cream pie looks great as well.
