My CH search for this place brought up nothing.

we are going tomorr night w/ southern indian friends, for the $12 chat and indo-chinese buffet. they have heard very good things about it from their indian friends. i'll report back but if anyone has tried it, plse advise! thank you.
(Nemaskar in Davis Sq and Tanjore in Harv Square are our favs, both northern indian restaurants w/ a few southern dishes, like 99.9% of indian restaurants in the u.s. And no, I am not a fan of Pongal, though these friends say it can be very good sometimes at dinner[not brunch buffet]. And boy do I miss long long ago Annapurna in Worcester. Anyone ever go to those? )
I don't know if we can order off the menu on their buffet nights, but i will likely try to do that.
These are the items i have not consciously seen before at other indian restaurants

guthi vankaya

I've had the lunch buffet, a good mix, and usually pretty fresh. It used to be Kebab, next door to Pho 88, so a hard sell. There's also a lot of good South Indian in the area: Mysore Veggie and Udupi Bhavan. All three have good dosai. Priya mixes in non veggie and northern dishes.
Haven't been to the indo-chinese nighttime buffet, look forward to your review.
