Where to get Dogfish Head 120 Min IPA in Boston?

Anyone know where I can get this amazing beer (either at a liquor store or at a bar) in Boston?

I saw it at Costco in Waltham yesterday. They're selling it by the case.

I would think this is probably the 60 minute.

Yeah. I've never seen it sold in any form other than singles. Even the 90 only comes in four packs IIRC.

The package store at the Summit Avenue stop just past Coolidge Corner has it. They sell it in individual bottles but I've definitely seen it there.

Downtown Liquors in Davis Square too. Also try the typical awesome array of beer bars we have: Redbones, Cambridge Commons, Deep Ellum, Lord Hobo, Publick House, American Craft and Atwoods.

I've seen it around, but can't remember exactly where :) (see above list of haunts).

Also, you should ask the Beer Board on Chowhound or Beer Advocate. There are lots of amazing IPAs out, especially from the West Coast, and you may find another that you like.

Supreme Liquors in Quincy has it. They have a big time stealth beer selection.

..and yes 120 is strong stuff. I split a bottle and I was feeling good.

Had it about a month ago at Highland Kitchen in Somerville for the 1st time and promptly went out & bought some.

I have bought it in the bottle at Martys in Newton, and have had it on tap at the Jolly Drayman in Bethel ME. At 20% ABV, I consider it the one to have when you are only having one. Its almost a liquer, however, not really a beer.

Yeah, I see it at Marty's consistently. I had some at the extreme beer fest at the cyclorama a few years back. I dunno, when the alcohol level gets up that high, I reach for scotch or bourbon. I find it sickly sweet, too, though I love the 60 and 90.

I actually just went to Liquor World and Downtown looking for a bottle (due to this thread) - but I came home with a Goose Island Nightstalker and a Wachusett Larry.

One of the beer guys at Mall Discount in Fresh Pond recommended a black and tan with the 120 minute IPA and the World wide stout. At $20 for the two bottles I haven't exactly pursued this idea, but it might be really interesting.

My wife got me a bottle of suntory yamazaki single malt for Easter (gotta love her, huh) - I think it has many of the same floral notes that come through so strongly in the 120 minute IPA.

I agree. I believe the 120 is also sold in cans under the name "Carlsberg Special Brew". The 60 and 90 are top beers, though.

I believe that Ball Square Liquors in Somerville carries it (they did a few weeks ago at least). I want to say Kappy's (on 28/16 intersection) also has it.

Beer Advocate has a good listing of craft beer focused stores and bars. It's generally difficult to find on tap, but most of the places listed will have it in a bottle.

Pretty much any decent liquor store will have this.
I've usually only seen it on tap during beer events at bars. Like Dogfish Head nights at Redbones or craft beer week nights at the Publick House or somewhere.
