Suggestions for dinner near Virginia Mason Hospital
There is nothing right around VM that is great for dinner dining. Most of the closer places tend to close a bit early and do more lunches.
Having said that probably the leading candidate if you want to stay very close to VM is the Hunt Club in the Sorrento Hotel.

If you want to go slightly farther afield and do not mind walking up hills on the way back you could head down Boren and go to Tango - which is more Spanish Tapas.
http://www.tangorestaurant.com/ or head down a little further and go to Machiavelli's http://www.machiavellis.com/
In the other direction with slightly less hills is a new good Mexican place around Broadway and James El Mestizo http://www.elmestizorestaurant.com/
Or slightly further around 10-12th on Pike Street there are a number of good choices depending on your mood such as Quinn's http://www.quinnspubseattle.com/
These are all walkable from VM, but are somewhat long walks depending on your mood, the weather and if you like to walk.
If you are going to be around during the day and need a quick lunch to eat outside or in the hospital I would recommend heading over to George's for a sandwich. http://www.yelp.com/biz/georges-sausa... but they are not open for dinner.
There is a lot in the broader general area, but sticking right around the hospital for a dinner options are slightly more limited.
