Need a birthday dinner resturant ...

Ok so it's my 30th birthday .. and I am wanting to go to dinner in the downtown Fort Worth area ... i just can't think of anywhere I really want to go ... I know that it needs to be moderatly priced as most of my friends who are coming don't usually spend alot of money on food ( as I do I am a diehard foodie , lol) I know also that I don't want sushi, or any asian food .. so help me

  1. You might check Tillman's, Ellerbe's or Buttons. I think they all have websites. For a bit of savings, Nonna Tata is BYOB (if that's an issue), but is very tiny with limited seating - I believe the biggest table they have seats 6 and there's only about 5 tables - call to verify - closed Sat and Sun. I've heard very good things about downtown Taverna. If you want to get a bit more relaxed, the Love Shack in the Stockyards for very good burgers is fun, but it's outdoors - live music.

That's all that comes to mind at the moment. Googling or searching this site will provide more info on most, if not all of them.

Taverna is excellent. Assuming it's the same menu as the Dallas location, it's a good price point, the food is delish, and the ambiance is lively for a group. Definitely get their Taverna Focaccia, you will be very happy you did!

    2. Try Eddie V's. You can certainly do moderate to expensive there and the service will blow you away!

      1. You will need to be mindful of what you order at both my recs, but they are incredible.
