Long Beach to Hollywood - Breakfast

Please help me find the best breakfast Chowhounders can recommend. It has to be a place that opens early. I have to drop a friend off at LB airport at 6am, then I have to be at work in Hollywood by 9. Thank you all in advance !

Bake N' Broil located at 36th and Atlantic Ave in Long Beach. They open at 6:30 a.m.

… a heart-felt second for Jongewaard's Bake N Broil. The spinach and cheese omelet is exceptional as is the quiche. They also make one of the best chicken pot pies I’ve tasted – killer crust! Their pancakes, muffins, cakes and pies are scrumptious – choose a piece or two to go for later.

The Griddle Cafe on Sunset and Fairfax is really good and opens at 7am. Great one of a kind pancakes.
