Seoul, South Korea - Single Diner ...

Planning a trip to Seoul in a few weeks.
I've read in several threads here and elsewhere that dining solo in Seoul can be tough, especially if you don't speak Korean and are looking for barbecue. But surely in a city of 10 million or so, there have got to be some options!

I'm looking for Korean food (barbecue and other kinds of food), preferably not the high-end stuff or hotel-based restaurants, unless there are just no other choices.

Any recommendations?

Also, can anyone suggest any blogs or other websites on the Seoul food scene that are accessible to an English-speaker?
