A group of friends are going for Indian food tonight at Tamarind on Olympic & Doheny. Has anyone been and have any thoughts? I cannot find any info on it at all besides the location. Thanks!

Tamarin has very good food, with creative interpretations of Indian cooking. Extremely tasty, though I didn't care for the rice dishes as much as the breads. Overall, one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the area (with Bombay Cafe, Clay Pit, and Ambhala Dhaba).

The LA Times reviewed it a while back: you probably didn't find anything online as there's no final "d" in the name for some reason.

Talesai in the same mini-mall is also quite good.
