The New Times reported that Xixon was expected to reopen this past weekend. Did anyone try it? Curious to know if the feel and flavors are the same!!

I ate here last year and LOVED it! The map over on the right says they are on Coral Way, is this the new location or old one?

Both old and new locations are on Coral Way, but the new address is 2121 Coral Way which would be several blocks east of what's shown on that map (which has it one block west of 27th Ave., which was the old location).

Thanks! I want to go back there!

Is it a bigger space now? The old space was so teeny!

Had lunch there today. The new address is 2101 SW 22 Ave., which is Coral Way. The food was delicious and the space is very nice. I look forward to going back soon.

I ate there last night. Food was awesome! The service was another story. 2 waitresses upstairs for about 8 tables... lets just put it this way, one table next to us got up to get themselves bread and another table next to us got up to get take away boxes from the bus station for their food. We tried to tell the manager at the end of dinner that the food was great and service not so much... but he wasnt so interested in our commentary. As for the food...
We had jamon serano which was as tasty as expected
Manchengo in a olive oil/rosemary sauce- sinfully good
Tortilla Espanola- The best ive had in miami (and ive had it pretty much everywhere bc its my fave)
Razor Clams- we were just in barcelona and expected these to suck in comparison but they were unexpectedly rich and delicious
Gambas al alijo- very good big shrimp, spicy garlic sauce (couldnt stop dipping my bread)
Chorizo in an apple cider- the cider wasnt so strong but it gave an interesting twist and the chorizo was delicious
Bait Snrimp with Huevos Revueltos- was weird... but my mom liked it... this was the only dish id advise against. the bait fish were fried but didnt really taste like much
Croquettas de Bacalao- perfect. Very puree'd inside, not filled with chunky bits of bacalao like ive had before. I enjoyed them very much
Fried Sardines- Very big sardines. I thought they were great. My mom and boyfriend didnt enjoy as much, as they prefer a smaller saltier sardine.
We had good sangria. It didnt have any fruit inside but was flavorful and refreshing.

All in all it was a very tasty meal. Ill probably pick up from the market next time due to the service issues... but will certaintly go back!
