Right now planning on Patois, Dick and Jenny's and Cochon. Should I try to fit Jacques Imo in? How does it compare to what I have? Will probably do Acme, Central and Johnny PoBoys for lunches.

Jacques-Imo's is good food and a fun experience, but the food isn't quite up to par with your other dinner choices. Squeeze it in if you have the time to, but I wouldn't swap it with any of your other choices.

that is quite the coincidence. My mom visited last week and we did all those places, including Jacques-Imo. She liked them all and I would try to fit in Jacques-Imo if you can. It's a great, unique experience that offers something that you won't find at any of your other selections. Another spot you might want to try to fit in is Coquette, on Magazine St. Really great food. They do dinner every night (except Sunday) and lunch like, Thursday-Sunday.

No. For a few dollars more you can dine at Emeril's with excellent food /service compared with the mediocret offerings at Jacques. Much Jaacque's atraction is the funky atmoshere. I'd rather have good food.

I agree wholeheartedly with Jazzy B. Emeril's is a blast....just hang out in the bar for a while then let the chef feed you. You won't regret it. You can even eat at the bar and meet the locals who hang out there....one of our favorite places.
