In search of.... the lost retaurant of... Sian Kaan???

OK, it's been a few years since I was down there (maybe 4? 5?) but last time I went down to the Yucatan, I seem to recall reviews about a small amazing place.. was it near the entrance to Sian Kaan? Intimate, torch-lit, great food, very small, not always open.... am I hallucinating? Anyway I was shephrrding a large family trip and had toc ater to the elast common food denominator so it wasn't on the eating plan. But this time I'm alone, at a 4 day meeting in Cancun, and have acouple days to spend at Xamach Dos... I was thinking I might hit this at some point. If it still lives in this world and not just my imagination.

Was it Hechizo in Rancho San Eric? Not sure, but they may be closed for low season.

i bet it's Hechizo, too. Last time I checked they were only open six months out of the year - I believe December to June.
