Food pairings for a Cab Franc/Syrah blend?
I'm looking for some ideas for what would go really well with a nice Cab Franc/Syrah blend ("Evil Eye", Periscope Cellars, 50%/50%). The birthday boy chose the wine and I'm looking to plan a memorable meal around it.
After some browsing around I'm thinking of maybe doing something with morel mushrooms and pork (rack of, or tenderloin).
What would you make to complement a blend like this? Thanks for any ideas.
