Been to Annisa since the reopening?
Hi everyone, I'm having dinner at Annisa tonight and was wondering if there have been any reviews since it reopened. What's great there?
Thanks!

Went three weeks ago and the meal and atmosphere were sublime. I had a squid appetizer which was incredible and a miso glazed fish of some sort-i think it was sable-served swimming in seaweed broth which was very tasty. The room itself was quite lovely and one of the best atmospheres for conversation. My companions all enjoyed their meals but unfortunately can't remember what they had.

Any recent reports on Annisa? Specific recommendations? Finally got a reservation (for tomorrow night) and hoping for some guidance.
Last time we were there -- pre-fire -- we enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairings. Wondering whether we should do the same or whether the new menu is better a la carte ...

I was very happy with my experience at Annisa. The amuse was escargot and parmesan wrapped in phyllo. I ordered the foie gras dumplings, the veal and sweetbreads, and the chocolate tasting. My husband ordered the barbecued squid, the miso sable, and the pink grapefruit dessert. Everything was very well done, but I thought the standouts were the veal and the sable.

re: ManhattanLawyer
We were there last night and the new menu is fabulous. There were only 3 dishes from the previous menu, her signature dishes, and the rest were all new. Thanks for the recs on the squid and the veal. Both were superb, and the lobster was also great, as was the strawberry millefeuille.
