Canned beans (moved from Ontario board)

I usually buy red canned beans, like organic beans from Bombay Kitchen.
Sometimes, the beans in the can are not loose, but squished.
It is difficult to take them out, and they come out mushy.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
Which brands would you recommend?

  1. Apologies in advance, as I do not know the availability of US products in Canada, but I have always found Westbrae (from Boulder, Colorado, USA) to be the best canned whole beans. I've never encountered a squishy, mushy, rotten, tasteless or bad whole bean with their products.

Thank you for the reply. I'll watch out for this brand. Unfortunately, in Toronto the choice is limited.

Whole Foods Market will definitely have Westbrae beans, as should any market which advertises itself as healthy, organic or having natural food items.
