Wine pairing help for dinner tonight

I didnt plan very well so I dont have time to make it to my favorite wine store before dinner tonight which means I will be left to my own devices in the Earthfare wine section...

I am making this:

Most likely serving with saffron couscous and a green salad.

Please help with wine serving suggestions. I am open to red or white.

I'd say a balanced zin like Ridge 3 Valleys, or a fruit-driven '07 CDR. I'm not sure how sweet the lamb meatballs with loquats will be.

I had not thought of pinot noir, that sounds great! I wanted red and was leaning toward heavier cabs or zins, but wasn't feeling it now that it has finally gotten warm out.

PInot Noir would be a great red for this dish. I think one from CA or OR would be lovely as they have enough fruit and heft for the lamb and the spiciness. Riesling could be a white option, but I'd do a pinot over a white. good luck, you're dinner sounds amazing.

You can't go wrong with a nice rose or riesling, but I love to have a big juicy cabernet sauvignon with my lamb! -mJ
