Sabrett's are definitely better then Fenway Franks; for that matter so are Nathan's or any Kosher dog.

I don't understand the appeal of Fenway Franks.

Today I saw prepackaged skinless Sabretts in the prepackaged hot dog section at the back of the Fenway Star Market just past the deli counter.

They have 5 lb packages at Shop Rite in Shelton CT 675 Bridgeport Ave. I dont have phone number.. but they have them....

Now - question for you - where do I find Saugies hot dogs in bulk ?

I saw these hot dogs at the Big Apple Circus recently but unfortunately the big top has packed up and left as of last Sunday.

If you can get into Restaurant Depot, or know someone who can, they stock Sabrett's dogs.

Yup - saw them there this weekend in Needham, and they were on sale. Almost bought some but had my heart set on some Pearl dogs.

I agree with Science Chick: I don't know if Sabrett's distributes outside of NYC. While you can find the snappy Sabrett's umbrellas on hot dog pushcarts, I would have to highly doubt that they're selling Sabrett's dogs. Even in NYC/LI/NJ, their natural casing dogs--the same ones that are sold at Grey's Papaya, Papaya King, Katz's, etc.--are hard to find. The retailers on the Sabrett's site can sell you dogs at bulk volumes, but you might also try to contact NY specialty stores that have online purchasing like Fairway (who definitely sell Sabrett's natural casing dogs and Sabrett's tomatoey onions in their stores): http://fairwaymarket.com/. Although, for the price you're bound to pay for them online, with the shipping, it may be cost effective to just take the bus down to NY to buy a whole bunch and bring them back.

Good luck finding them! Can't beat 'em on a grill.

I've seen them at Foodmaster in Somerville on Beacon. Not sure if they have them now, though

re out of state distribution: I could swear I saw a roadside Sabrett hot dog stand while driving through the Ft. Lauderdale area of Florida, but that was years ago.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a cart on the Common that sell these...although I may be thinking of NYC. Not sure if they are readily available outside the NY area. You can contact Sabrett to ask for local retailers here:
