"In Plain Sight" on USA Gives Chowhound a Shout Out
So I'm watching the show and Steven Weber (new cast member) tells Mary McCormack's character he's buying from some place in Albuquerque where the show is filmed (Big Beef) he saw recommended on Chowhound and Mary come back "No, if you want ribs you call Rudy's"
Very funny...obviously one of the writers or the stars or the director is a hound.

re: alkapal
I thought it was notable that someone took the time and had the interest to write the line into a script for a drama. We are pretty used to seeing various mentions of Chowhound in articles and even some TV shows that are about the subject of food. But when you start becoming enough of a cultural icon to get written into a script, that's another level of fame. What next, James Cameron having a large blue 3-D creature yelling "Chowhound rules" just before attacking their burrito? ;-D>

"in plain sight" has a terrific writer or writers. the dialogue and plots are outstanding. and you're probably right, there's gotta be a chowhound on their team! (i know mary's character would definitely be a chowhound, but you usually see her dumping food because it is trash). -
